Education allows a person to navigate society and achieve hopes and dreams. With about 20% of the men who come to Ujamaa Place not having a high school diploma or equivalent, the obstacles along that path are difficult to overcome.
The Ujamaa Place Education Program helps each Ujamaa Man climb the learning ladder by meeting them at their level of education at enrollment by offering:
- GED prep courses and tutoring
- Higher Education opportunities to learn more about college application, admissions and matriculation.
- Drivers License Exam Tutoring
