Keith Allen

Keith Allen leads people- and place-based community health, education, outreach programs, and strategies and partnerships that aim to address health in long-term and upstream approaches. He is Building community partnerships and leads the team of Community-based Clinical Care and Outreach community, Part of Community Advancement, which includes the Food is Medicine programs, Health Commons, Cultural Broker Program, Health Education, and Colon Cancer Prevention program—leading the shift to many of these programs to respond to the needs of the community, beyond the walls of our traditional hospital setting. Before joining M Health Fairview, he was a Planning Specialist with Ramsey County. He focused on high-priority, multi-sector initiatives and led the development of a continuum of care for Ramsey County youth and families. He has over 20 years of experience working in public health and non-profit experience in Minnesota. He has his Master of Social Work from the University of St. Thomas. Where he was a presidential scholar. He was recognized as a Health Care Hero in 2020 for leading the response to address the COVID-19 pandemic. Twin Cities Business Magazine named him a “Notable Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Executive” in 2022.
