POWERHOUR: Laura Jelinek

Laura Jelinek is the Metro Regional Leadership Attorney at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS.) She supervises the legal work in SMRLS’ five county metro region. She has represented numerous families and disabled individuals with a variety of legal issues. Her primary focus is on fair housing litigation. She litigates both federal and state discrimination claims on behalf of low-income families concerning reasonable accommodations, sexual harassment in housing, and racial harassment.
