PowerHour Review: Dr. Delores Henderson
Dr. Delores Henderson is a recently retired school administrator with St. Paul Public Schools. She was the longest sitting administrator in the State of Minnesota – 46 years. As an employee of St. Paul Public Schools, she was a teacher, Administrator on Special Assignment – Closing the Achievement Gap, Bases for Decision-Desegregation Plan, Joint Appointment with the University of Minnesota – Supervisor of teachers, Instrumental in developing various programs – J.J. Hill Gifted and Talented Magnet, Capital Hill Gifted Magnet and Hazel Park Preparatory Academy International Baccalaureate.
She was school administrator in 16 different schools in St. Paul Public Schools. Dr. Henderson served over 30,000 students and families during her career. She was dedicated, committed and passionate in making a difference in the lives of the children, families and communities of which she was a part. Dr. Henderson has been a long time advocate for children, serving as their voice for change and opportunities for excellence in education.
